Check it oot.

The internet will sell you a six pack by Friday, a shortcut, and a supplement you don't need. I won't.

Just an honest letter on training, nutrition, health and everything in between. No algorithm, no filters, no noise. Once or twice a month, straight to your inbox.

Martin Ebner

Hi, I'm Martin.

I have been a personal trainer for fifteen years, first in Buenos Aires, now in Barcelona. I grew up in Edinburgh, more active than I was healthy. Sports on one side, junk food on the other, and a metabolism that gave up trying to keep pace with my appetite somewhere around the millennium. Then at sixteen my dad started taking me and my sister to the gym. One of the best things he ever did for me, and it paved the way for the life that followed.

In that time I have watched this industry get louder, not wiser. Social media has set the standard somewhere no real person can reach, and everyone is selling the shortcut to it. I am not. I keep my in person coaching to a select few, so this is where I get to write for real people with real lives, and set expectations you can actually meet.

If I'm honest, this is largely for me too. I have always found that writing cuts through in a way talking sometimes can't. Soft on people, honest about what's required. I will give you the tools and the honest version. What you do with them is up to you.

What's inside

Every issue opens with a real question a client actually asked me, in their own words. Names protected, the stories very much real. From there, the stuff that genuinely helps: training that works, nutrition without the nonsense, why most supplements are a waste of money and the handful that aren't, and the occasional recommendation I stand behind. Short enough to read with a coffee, honest enough to be worth your time, and free, which is far less than my opinions cost in person.
